  Drove over an hour to this Bass Pro Shops location to purchase a firearm. I verified availability both online and by calling the store directly, where customer service confirmed the firearm was in stock. After arriving, I waited over an hour in line at the firearm counter. When it was finally my turn, I was told the firearm was not actually in stock. The entire trip ended up being a complete waste of time due to inaccurate inventory information. On top of that, there was a clear lack of urgency from employees behind the counter despite a long line of customers waiting. Bass Pro Shops needs to do a much better job of valuing customers’ time, especially for purchases that already require long wait times. Very disappointing experience.

  f you’re looking for a classic, no-stress Santa photo experience, Bass Pro Shops absolutely delivers—holiday magic without the mall chaos. The setup was festive and well organized, and best of all, the whole process felt surprisingly calm for Christmas season (a true miracle). The staff were friendly, patient, and clearly used to working with excited kids, curious babies, and slightly frazzled parents. Santa himself was warm, cheerful, and didn’t rush the interaction, which made the moment feel genuine instead of forced. The photo quality was solid, and the free photo option is a huge win—especially when everything else around the holidays costs an arm and a leg. You can also purchase additional photos if you want more keepsakes, but there was zero pressure to do so. Overall, it was a lovely, family-friendly experience that felt thoughtful and well run. If you want sweet Christmas memories without long lines, overpriced packages, or a cranky Santa, Bass Pro Shops is the move.

  Honestly this is insane…I’ve been here for 4 hours trying to purchase a rifle. I know exactly which rifle I want. But these employees are insanely slow! I understand if you are understaffed but if that’s the case management needs to be on it! Several people have been waiting just as long as I have. I am only waiting this long because I received gift cards for Christmas. This will be the first and last time I purchase from bass pro. Honestly embarrassing.

  The ammo department is extremely unprofessional and rude. I was helped by an employee called Fred, and he had an obnoxious attitude, and is very racist. When he found out that I am a green card holder, he started asking for documentations that were never required by anywhere else, and he told me in a very condescending tone that if these documents were not required by other places, that means they were not professional enough. But he was actually the unprofessional one, and his manager had to come out to tell him the my documentations were valid for ammo purchases. Then he became super awkward and aggressive during the entire time that he was helping me. When I told him that I want 2 different kinds of ammo, he said he was confused and didn’t know which exact ammo I wanted. I had to reiterate that I wanted both kinds of ammo, and he intentionally brought only one of them and omit the other one and shout at me that I wasn’t being clear. Since I was buying bulk, he had to get the ammo from the back, not on the counter, and I told him that I wanted 2 boxes of the ammo, and he only brought one box and accused me of not being clear again. I highly recommend that you don’t buy any ammo here so you don’t have to deal with their attitude, aggression, and racism.
