I went in to see about getting some giclee prints made, since they were having a 50% off sale for custom prints and framing. There was no pricing info anywhere online, and nobody answered the three times I tried to call, so I went out of my way to go in person. The guy at the printing desk provided terrible costumer service, trying to get any info about prices for different sizes and paper options was like pulling teeth, and they don’t even have a printed price list you can look at anywhere. After finally dragging the info out of him, it turned out that even with the 50% off, the prints would have still cost twice as much as the place I usually go, for similar quality paper. So usually it’s four times as much! I don’t know what anyone would choose blick for printing.
