  We have taken all of our special pieces of art to Ray Street for framing because the quality of the job and materials is superior. They carry a wide selection of frames. Their expertise in helping to select the best mat and frame is invaluable. The glass is museum quality so we don't worry about preserving the image. It's worth the investment. Their customer service is excellent as well. They have helped us through each project to select the best match of materials for the price we were aiming for. We'll come back. Highly recommended.

  I had an incredible experience with Ray Street Framing. They took the time to walk me through different options so I could fully customize the look and feel of the frames for my custom art pieces, and the final result is absolutely stunning. The craftsmanship is beautiful, the quality is evident, and every detail feels intentional and tailored to the artwork. I’ll definitely be coming back with future pieces and highly recommend them to anyone who wants something beyond a generic, off‑the‑shelf frame.

  My wife and I have been lucky enough to enjoy a very adventurous retirement. Over the years we have collected any number of art pieces from different parts of the world. Each has brought us great pleasure and memories. Early on we discovered Ray Street Custom Framing and what they could do for our enjoyment of our pieces. We have found that a creative and high quality frame enhances each of our pieces--some exotic and some having personal meaning to us. In every case the framers worked with us to find the type, color, style and overall presentation of a frame that would work best with each piece we had. We will always go to them anytime we acquire another piece of art that we want to keep. Highly recommend them.

  Absolutely incredible! I love bourbon and love historical items. My wife located a perfectly preserved Rx from 1921 for "one teacup of whiskey per night". Of course this was during Prohibition when alcohol was only legally available by Rx. My wife wanted a special frame. We live in WI. She found Ray Street in San Diego. She reached out looking for a custom frame made from real bourbon barrel wood. They were eager to take on the project and worked closely with her to get it perfect. The end result was simply amazing! Beautiful wood with a gorgeous leather mat. The glass was treated to help protect from light damage and fading. The Rx was "free mounted" in a way to allow it to naturally "age" (not exactly the right word but you get the idea) and almost appear to be floating. Incredible technique. My wife had a blast when planning. Michelle (the owner) was in constant communication with her planning the entire process and providing regular updates. We wanted to make a trip of it, so we flew out to San Diego to pick it up. We arrived at the studio and were simply in awe of their work! Michelle, the owner, met us and showed us around. We also got to meet Dave, the woodworker, and Wendy, another team member. After picking up the frame, they took us to one of the most incredible bourbon bars I have ever visited. It was an incredible experience and one we will never forget! The framed Rx is the centerpiece of my bourbon collection. And the memory will never fade! Incredible work. Incredible people. Love this company!
