- TJTravers JohnsonAug 8, 20251.0I bought $250 Oakleys within a year. I recently noticed that there is a small chip in the lens right near the frame. These sit in my car and this chip is obviously no fault of my own and a clear issue they had when they came from the factory. The employee at the store her name was Tris even admitted that it looked like a quality control problem from the factory and even though there is a 2 year warranty she refused to do anything to fix the issue. On top of that she was rude condescending and even started to act hostile while I remained completely calm trying to find a solution for this issue. By at your own risk. It’s very unfortunate that Oakley no longer stands by their products and just over charges for cheap pieces of plastic. Tris was extremely rude and I’m very saddened by this whole experience. It’s mind boggling that a massive conglomerate like Oakley refuses to stand by their products and customers.
