  Nordstrom employees are really well trained in Customer Service. I was looking at some jewelry and the Sales associate on the floor noticed that I looked like I could use some help. She asked what I needed, and I needed to check the price. She looked it up for me and didn't follow me around. I like that unlike other stores who follow you like you are a going to rob the store. She disappeared so fast to help other customers with pricing and didn't see her after. So, when I was ready to pay another Sales Associate helped me. Her name was Maria and she was with the skincare Augustinus Bader. She took my payment and even gave me samples of their products. That I is great customer service.

  An older sales associate at the accessories department near the doors leading to the parking lot was extremely rude when I came in to make a return at opening this morning (2/7/26). She appeared irritated that I was waiting at her counter instead of going to another department and loudly stated that she was not a return center. I had previously witnessed her arguing with another customer a few weeks ago for the same reason. She should address her work concerns with management rather than taking them out on customers in front of others. Her tone was rude and unnecessary.

  Nordstrom used to be a high-quality High customer service place to shop. But recently the customer service has been horrific. The last few times I've gone there I've been treated extremely poorly and to get anybody to actually help you with an item is virtually impossible. I was there today and asked for help with a sports bra and the girl said I think we have some over there and pointed and said let me know if you need anything and walked away and that's the last I saw of her. The time before that I was trying to try on a couple of items and was completely ignored. Not even mention how they treated my friend who is a woman of color. They refused to even look at her after they initially saw her and looked her up and down and turned their backs on her. Is completely unacceptable behavior from any store let alone a store that touts their customer service. Shame on you Nordstrom for not hiring better and not training them properly. As a long time customer I am extremely disappointed in your decline of quality.

  My friend and I were in the Make up Department on January 27th 2026 at 5:45 pm. We went to ask if they carried this certain lip stick as all the employees were just standing around talking. We were the only customers in the make up department. We showed them the tube. They said no but they didn’t even offer to help us match the color to another brand. They just ignored us so we left and they lost a sale. Never coming back again!
