When I brought it to the register to inquire about the price, Katie asked, “Isn’t this the same skirt you just returned?” My husband, who was with me, was taken aback and asked, “Why is she speaking to you like that?” I’m disappointed by the implication and tone of the question. It’s not the kind of experience I expect from J.Crew. I hope this feedback is taken constructively—please ensure your employees are trained to approach customers with professionalism and respect, without making assumptions.
