  Buying pants has always been a problem for me. I'm usually in a rush, and when I'm in a rush I can come off rude without meaning to. Joel Cruz handled all of it. Patient, knowledgeable about the garments, the sizing, the fit. The whole thing was seamless, easy, and quick. I don't usually get excited about clothes. I'm hyped on these. When coming in, Joel is the guy.

  If I could give zero stars to Bonobos Sacramento, I absolutely would. This is a warning to any future groom considering Bonobos for a wedding tuxedo—do not make the same mistake we did. My fiancée and I drove 2.5 hours expecting a premium experience for a $900 tuxedo, assuming that price point would come with professional service and proper fitting. We couldn’t have been more wrong. We arrived early for our appointment and were immediately treated like an afterthought. The employee decided to handle us and another customer at the same time, which set the tone for the entire experience—rushed, inattentive, and unprofessional. Instead of taking actual measurements, the employee just guessed my size. There was no tape measure in sight. The pants happened to fit, but everything else was a mess. The first shirt and jacket were way too small. When I asked for larger sizes, I was handed pieces that were overly baggy. When I pointed that out, the employee actually said, “that’s how the tuxedo is supposed to fit.” That was the moment I knew we were dealing with someone who didn’t care about our experience or opinion. This is my wedding and I expected a tailored, sharp fit, not something that looks two sizes too large. The employee then tried to push us to purchase the ill-fitting suit on the spot, asking if we were ready to check out. My fiancée had to step in and ask the obvious question: “Are you going to take measurements?” The answer? No. We were told to just buy the suit and get it tailored elsewhere. They’re charging nearly $1,000 for a tuxedo, offering zero tailoring, zero measurements, and expecting customers to fix the fit themselves. To top it off, when I asked to see bow tie options, I was brushed off with “it’s self-tie, you can tie it if you want.” No guidance, no service, nothing. This entire experience was frustrating, disappointing, and honestly shocking given the price point and brand reputation. If you’re getting married and want to look your best, avoid this place at all costs. Go somewhere that actually values your business, takes proper measurements, and understands how important a well-fitting suit is for a once-in-a-lifetime event. Bonobos Sacramento completely missed the mark.

  Vyvyan took the time to help me find pants in my size and a shirt that fit very well. She was very knowledgeable about the clothes and gave top notch customer service. This level of personal assistance is hard to find at the majority of clothing stores.
