    never going back. I purchased an item listed as IN STOCK at this specific store. drove an hour the next morning to pick it up, only to be told they've never had that item in stock and the order was canceled. except they didn't bother to tell me. there was no email or other notification that the item was not available. it was listed as in stock. I drove all the way there for nothing. God damn waste of my time.

    Need a place to spend a few hours before making a purchase? This is the place!!! Amazing store with tons and tons of items! Huge selection of yeti products and get a jump on water craft items before spring / summer arrives and items get sold out. We recently went in to purchase fishing items and didn't expect to take so long inside. Prices are fair with a huge variety of fishing supplies

    Why would this place let pushy time share salesman in their store, like I’m trying to buy some fishing gear but instead I had to argue about why I don’t want to buy their package and get scammed out of my hard earned money.

    I came here to obtain my gun license and purchase a firearm, and left extremely disappointed. I passed my test and was extremely excited. I’ve been dealing with some personal issues and have been in fear of my safety. When it came time to buy a firearm is when everything went south. I brought my dad for direction because this is my first firearm and I trust his judgement completely, we had checked out a couple firearms the night before so I had an idea of what I wanted. My dad is very experienced with firearms as all of my family goes hunting near our cabin in Montana every year. My dad was asking very simple questions, (it’s been almost 50 years since my dad has purchased any firearms), when he asked where I can obtain my CCP is when Kevin B became extremely aggressive raising his voice and told my dad not to address him because it was “suspicious”. My dad was being exactly that, a dad trying to ensure his daughter is safe. Kevin B then proceeded to embarrass me in front of multiple customers and employees by asking me to prove I know how to use the firearm. I seen MULTIPLE people purchase guns that day while waiting and not one was asked this. When I did what he asked, he then told me I needed to do it again. The whole experience was extremely embarrassing. Kevin B stood there just staring at me, not providing any information on any of the firearms or information in general. Despite how I desperately need something to keep me safe at this time, the whole situation was entirely too embarrassing and uncomfortable so ultimately I decided not to purchase anything and will be going else where. My ENTIRE family shops here, this location specifically, wether it’s for firearms or boats or fishing gear. They have all been coming here for YEARS. None of us will be returning after today, some even cancelling their memberships. I will also be contacting the corporate office to escalate this encounter. To everyone else (besides the other gentleman I spoke to to tell him I was no longer purchasing anything), thank you for your kindness. You gentleman are amazing at what you do, especially the guy who gave me the test and the gentleman who assisted us the night before. They both deserve a raise.

    I am writing to express my profound disappointment regarding an encounter with an employee named Eric at your Rocklin Bass Pro Shop on February 1, 2026. My husband and I were simply trying to inquire about the process of purchasing a firearm when we were met with an incredibly prejudiced and grotesque attitude from Eric. Eric proceeded to ask my husband highly inappropriate and deeply offensive questions concerning his legal status. We were both completely taken aback by the nature of these inquiries, which had absolutely no relevance to our legitimate questions about your store's firearm purchasing procedures. Eric's line of questioning and overall demeanor made us feel extremely uncomfortable. It felt as though Eric was deliberately trying to dehumanize us through his behavior and words. Such conduct is unacceptable and completely goes against what we would expect from any customer service professional. Furthermore, learning that this employee has prior bad reviews regarding his attitude and behaviors gives me the deepest concerns that such conduct is being tolerated or deemed acceptable within your establishment. We left feeling deeply disturbed by the experience and believe this incident warrants immediate attention.
