  I had a very disappointing return experience at this lululemon location at date of september 22.2026. I purchased a pair of shoes online only about a week ago. They were not marked as final sale, and I was still within the 30-day return period. When I came to the store to return them, I was told that I could only receive a gift card and that a refund to my original payment method was not possible. When I asked to see the policy supporting this, I was shown information that actually included a refund to the original payment method as one of the available options. Despite this, the manager continued to insist that my only option was a gift card without clearly explaining why. What disappointed me most was the manager’s attitude. When I continued asking for clarification, she told me, in words to the effect of, “Either I give you a gift card, or you take your shoes and there is no return,” while handing the shoes back toward me. I found the way she spoke to me rude, dismissive, and unnecessarily confrontational. I also asked for her name because I wanted to report the interaction accurately, but she refused to provide it and only told me that she was the manager. After further discussion, I ultimately did receive a refund to my original payment method. However, that makes the earlier insistence that only a gift card was possible even more confusing and frustrating. I have shopped with lululemon because I expect clear policies and respectful customer service. Unfortunately, my experience at this location fell far below those expectations. I have also contacted lululemon Guest Education Centre to formally report the incident.
