- JJJohnAug 1, 20261.0I visited the Sunglass Hut at Royalmount on Saturday, August 1, with my girlfriend, and the service was unbelievably poor. There were four employees present, yet not a single one greeted us or offered to help. Instead, they spent the entire time talking amongst themselves. We actually visited the store twice that same day as we were ready to buy 2 pairs of sunglasses, and it was exactly the same experience both times, no service. I honestly don’t understand the point of having four employees on the floor if they’re just standing around chatting instead of assisting customers. If people are only there to collect a paycheck, it’s a complete waste of payroll. What makes this even more disappointing is that I noticed previous reviews mentioning the exact same issue. The fact that nothing seems to have changed tells me management is not taking these complaints seriously. This is not the level of customer service I would expect from Sunglass Hut. Two customers lost and we will never return.
