  I rarely write reviews but this terrible store should be known for its horrible customer service. Unbelievably rude customer service. Melissa L was strangely flippant and unprofessional. When I asked where jewelry was I got a pointed finger and a “over there” comment. Then when checking out she insisted on getting my email to “see if I was in the system,” I explained I’ve never shopped there so I wouldn’t “be in the system.” Lo and behold, I wasn’t but wouldn’t you know, I received a “subscribed” email later that day. Unbelievable that she signed me up for emails without my permission. I’m assuming she gets points for unscrupulous signing people up to emails. Then when attempting to leave the store she followed me out, very weirdly, very closely, which made me extremely uncomfortable and I felt obliged to talk to her because she was following me around like my shadow. I must mention I had a crossbody type tiny bag that hold only hold a wallet and sunglasses, there was absolutely no way I looked like a shoplifter. I was so stressed by her weird and clingy behavior I felt I needed to talk to her, which I didn’t want to, and then she went on about politics, Trump, and her mother’s obsession with politics and that digressed into her preaching about “The Lord” and “God.” Woah, it got out of hand. She managed to pepper her conversation with at least 2 personal insults towards me as well. Gah! I finally found an opening to leave. One more thing, I was looking for items that were apparently J Crew and not J Crew Outlet. When she said she didn’t have any of the items she flippantly told me to go to the now defunct J Crew in Old Town Pasadena. I politely said it was closed (It’s been closed for several years now.) and she rudely said, “Well, there is a J Crew somewhere in Pasadena.” She had no idea what she was saying, just making it up on the go. Again, very weird. I loved J Crew for its high quality and professional customer service. Apparently the J Crew outlet is the Temu for J Crew. The prices were not that great and it’s clearly not the J Crew I was previously a frequent shopper at. (The merchandise is inferior to real J Crew.) The terrible and weird sales woman, Melissa L, soured me on J Crew outlet forever. I suggest to skip this store in Hastings Ranch unless you like an unscheduled religious sermon and sales people treating you like garbage. What a horrible store with horrible sales people. In this terrible economy they should be happy that I was shopping in their deserted ghost town of a store. Hard pass!!!

  Just found this “new” place after wanting the order to be picked up at the store. Don’t expect it to exist in the area of several other stores like Nordstrom Rack, Old Navy, Dick’s Sporting Goods and Ulta Beauty. In this J Crew Factory, there are quite few selection for shopping, and the employees are extra kind and helpful. Feel like coming back for more shopping:)

  Great stores. Sometime they have good sales, 3+ items from clearance 70% off. Can’t beat that price!

  So nice that there is a J.Crew factory store in Pasadena. You don’t have to go all the way to an outlet faraway to shop for J.Crew deals. Lots of good deals to be found here. Came in to just look, but left with a bag of stuff. They have clothes for everyone here. Even kids.
