- DODanielle O'NeillMar 24, 20261.0I’m not usually one to leave negative reviews, but this experience was really disappointing. I’m 6 months postpartum and finally felt ready to shop for a new summer wardrobe. I found several pieces I loved at J.Crew (about $500 worth) and was excited to try them on, especially since I hadn't had any lucky at other stores. When I went to the fitting rooms, all the doors were locked. I waited for assistance, and an employee came in, made eye contact with me, and I gestured that I needed a room. She then took a phone call and completely ignored me for 10–15 minutes. To make matters worse, it sounded like she was on a call discussing her customer service skills for a potential management role—while actively ignoring a customer standing right in front of her. I understand the call may have been important, but there were easy ways to handle both. Instead, I ended up leaving everything and walking out. Really disappointing experience, especially since I’ve always loved this brand, and been a loyal customer for 20+ years. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

Also messed up a return and asked me to revisit the god awful store to get it fixed instead of taking care of it online or on phone. I would skip this one. There are other better branches like the west field valley fair one, where the staff is a lot more professional.
- SMS MMar 16, 20265.0My family visited the Palo Alto JCrew store this weekend to find a black suit for my son. We found a perfect Ludlow suit for him but it needed alterations. Our sales assistant, Robin, went above and beyond, to help us get the suit to the tailor before she closed to expedite alterations. We needed the suit by Tuesday in time for a family funeral service. He personally came over to the tailor's shop, a few stores away, to ensure that everything was taken care. A big shoutout to the branch manager, Tony, who also went above and beyond to assisted in the purchasing. Excellent customer service!
