Attention Ray-Ban management: Please give excellent salesperson Claire a raise and a promotion. She assisted me in high detail even after I said I was not going to buy a pair at this location — I only wanted to use my Blue Rewards (previously known as Air Miles) to order a pair online. Claire pointed out exactly where every model which Blue Rewards offered was located in this store, and explained (amongst other facts) that we had to watch out sometimes for more than one size across one style. I was a Ray-Ban devotee before, and shall continue to be one thanks to this customer service.

I called this place to enquire about changing the lenses from my raybans and the lady barely spoke English and i couldn't even understand what she was saying.

My experience at the Ray-Ban store was disappointing. Derek assisted with my prescription glasses order, but the shipment was sent to my old address. When we followed up, Claire mentioned it was delivered “by mistake,” which is concerning as shipping details should be verified carefully, and FedEx would only deliver to the address provided by the store. After multiple follow-ups, the store manager confirmed they will remake the order and ship it to my correct address. While I appreciate the resolution, the situation was inconvenient and not the level of service I expected. Given that this involves prescription lenses and eyesight, I expected a much higher level of accuracy, attention to detail, and customer care. This is not just a retail purchase—it relates to healthcare. Additionally, Ray-Ban products are premium-priced, and one expects the brand to uphold a high standard. Experiences like this tarnish the brand’s image. I will update this review once I receive the order. Update as on 26th July 2026: I recived my googles last night and following items are missing: 1. Ray ban prescription card 2. Custom engraving on the case 3. Extra lens of the googles Finally received all the above items today (2026.08.10)

I rarely leave negative reviews, but after almost a year of dealing with this store, I feel other customers deserve to know what they may experience. I purchased my Ray-Ban Meta AI Glasses with prescription lenses from this location. Before placing my order, I specifically asked whether I would receive the original clear lenses together with my prescription lenses. I was clearly told that I would, and that assurance was one of the reasons I proceeded with the purchase. When my glasses arrived, they came with the prescription lenses installed, but the original clear lenses were missing. A short time later, the right prescription lens started coming loose from the frame. The gap became large enough that my hair and even my eyebrows would get caught between the lens and the frame every time I wore the glasses. It was painful and made the glasses difficult to use. I returned to the Yorkdale store to ask for help. I spoke with a staff member named Darek. Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing customer service experiences I have had. He showed little interest in understanding the problem, told me nothing could be done, and made no real effort to help or offer a solution. I also asked again about the original clear lenses that I had been promised. This time, I was told they would not provide them. Only after I insisted and explained that I had specifically been told they would be included did they agree to send me G15 lenses instead. Although G15 lenses were never what I originally wanted, I accepted the offer just to move the situation forward. I was told the G15 lenses would be mailed to me. They never arrived. More than six months passed without any communication, updates, or follow-up from the store. During that time, I underwent LASIK eye surgery. The original clear lenses were the very reason I had asked about them before purchasing the glasses, yet I was left without them when I actually needed them. Eventually, after months of waiting, I had to personally search for Ray-Ban customer service contacts, head office contacts, and multiple email addresses myself. I wrote detailed emails explaining everything that had happened. Only after escalating the issue beyond the store did someone finally respond. Yorkdale contacted me and said the G15 lenses would arrive within two weeks. They eventually did—but they still were not the original clear lenses that had been promised at the time of purchase. The most frustrating part is that this entire situation was completely avoidable. What should have been a simple customer service issue turned into almost a year of unnecessary stress because of poor communication, lack of follow-up, and an unwillingness to help. The only reason I eventually received anything at all was because I spent countless hours following up, sending emails, and escalating the issue myself. No customer should have to work this hard just to receive something they were promised. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this location. If you are purchasing prescription glasses or expect any after-sales support, I would strongly suggest choosing another Ray-Ban store. Good customer service doesn't end when the payment is made, and unfortunately, that is exactly how I felt treated here.
