  Had such a lovely experience at Alo Yorkdale thanks to Val! She was incredibly patient, professional, and friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure my gift was beautifully packaged. I really value the in-person shopping experience, and Val made the whole experience feel so thoughtful and kind.

  Zero stars if I could. Very unwelcoming and the attitude of workers is crazy. You’re selling workout clothes, be for real. It’s giving high school mean girls.

  I had to leave this review here because the customer service during my return was unacceptable. I brought back a pair of shoes that were only ever worn inside their own store to try on for size. Instead of handling the return professionally, the staff repeatedly inspected the soles and started whispering right in front of me, acting as if I was trying to return a worn product. If shoes pick up dirt after walking five feet inside your shop, maybe clean your store floors better instead of making your customers feel uncomfortable and untrustworthy. Extremely disappointing behavior from a brand that constantly preaches mindfulness.

  I absolutely love ALO, but the Yorkdale location is on another level when it comes to service. Every time I shop there, the staff are amazing — super friendly, helpful and they really know how to make you enjoy shopping ALO has some incredibly stylish pieces. I’ll be honest, the quality is not always perfect on every single item, but the clothes are so good-looking that somehow I still keep buying them What really makes the Yorkdale store stand out for me is the people who work there. I’ve been to other ALO locations and the service just isn’t the same. Yorkdale is definitely my favourite♥️

  Terrible in-store experience & completely useless customer support afterwards. I bought a pair of shoes at the Alo Yoga Yorkdale location about a month ago. While two male staff members on the floor were very kind and helpful, the overall experience and subsequent customer service have been a complete nightmare. 1. Rude and Unprofessional Staff: While I was trying on shoes on the fitting room couch, a female employee walked by and heavily sprayed fabric spray right in front of me. When another female staff asked why she was doing it, she replied right in front of my face, "Because it smells like shoes so much over here." I was the only customer trying on shoes there. It was deeply offensive, disrespectful, and suffocating. 2. Cold Checkout & Ignored Points: The cashier was cold and expressionless, completely skipping the loyalty point check (didn't ask for phone number or email). 3. Unhelpful CS : I contacted Alo customer support regarding this unacceptable behavior. Their response? "We can't do anything unless you know the staff members' names." Expecting a customer to memorize the names of staff who were being rude to them is ridiculous. 4. Neglected Loyalty Points: I was told to submit my receipt scan to get my points added manually. It has now been almost a month, and the points are STILL not added to my account. I loved Alo, but this entire experience-from the disrespectful store staff to the useless customer service-has ruined the brand for me. Management needs to look at the shift schedule/ CCTV for that day and actually address these issues instead of making excuses.
