  I honestly have very mixed feelings about ALO. I absolutely love their designs, styles, and overall aesthetic. Their collections always look amazing, modern, stylish, and very flattering, and every time I walk into the store I find so many pieces that I want to buy. In terms of design and style, ALO is definitely one of my favorite brands. Unfortunately, the quality is a completely different story. For the prices they charge, I really expect much, much better quality. I have purchased several items because I genuinely love the styles, but I’ve been disappointed with how some of them hold up after wearing and washing. When you are paying premium prices, you expect the fabric, stitching, shape, and overall durability to match that price point, and in my experience they simply don’t. That is the most frustrating part for me because ALO has so much potential. I keep coming back because I love the designs, but I really wish they would focus more on improving the quality of their products. Beautiful designs alone are not enough when customers are paying these prices. I’m giving 3 stars mainly because I genuinely love the styles and collections, but when it comes to quality and value for money, I personally cannot give a higher rating. If the quality improved to match the design and price, this could easily become one of my absolute favorite brands

  Your fall collection is boring… Bring in better clothing options and more styles your pants are all extremely unflattering and all of your sweaters are cropped… in Canada we don’t want to flash our wastes when the weather gets cold.. fix this now, I want to see more denim knit fabrics, something that feels more luxury

  Stellar, courteous, friendly, energetic, enthusiastic customer service by Manager Matt. What a brilliant brand ambassador and a credit to the company. He cares about his job, how people feel about the clothes AND the overall Alo experience. My wife and I will return specifically to THIS location for our Alo purchases because of him.

  Had such a lovely experience at Alo Yorkdale thanks to Val! She was incredibly patient, professional, and friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure my gift was beautifully packaged. I really value the in-person shopping experience, and Val made the whole experience feel so thoughtful and kind.

  I had to leave this review here because the customer service during my return was unacceptable. I brought back a pair of shoes that were only ever worn inside their own store to try on for size. Instead of handling the return professionally, the staff repeatedly inspected the soles and started whispering right in front of me, acting as if I was trying to return a worn product. If shoes pick up dirt after walking five feet inside your shop, maybe clean your store floors better instead of making your customers feel uncomfortable and untrustworthy. Extremely disappointing behavior from a brand that constantly preaches mindfulness.
