  Went to Sporting Life last Saturday to buy specific items that I was sure not able to find easily elsewhere. Brett was amazing to step in and work harder to find the item - was almost at the door leaving empty hands. His dedication lead to find 3 items for me to buy. Kudos to you, Brett! It is certain that I will be returning in the future for more shopping! Brett made it easy to find the items in a timely manner that it removed the stress to look across the floor and the many brands to find the items! Went in to buy one item, and I found 3 to my liking!

  Great experience this week from staff assisting me to choose a new ARC’TERYX rain jacket- removed the security tag so I could get a better feel for the fit and even kind enough to take a photo - thanks for the personal attention- also picked up a new pair of ON’s - shoe fitting and knowledge was great too! I often by clothing here - love the great selection ❤️

  Not sure why this store languishes with a 4 star review. Great location, really clean, helpful staff and I swear everything was on sale, even the brand names. Did notice more than a few boomer types arguing over returns so maybe that’s it? Oh well I will be back

  Had a terrible experience with the "security guard" at the front when I went to get my bike serviced. He got in front of me at the front entrance and asked why I was there, I said "to get my bike fixed" and attempted to walk around him, he put his hand on my chest and asked if I wanted to get arrested, to which I said "you're not a cop man". I was able to enter the store and get my bike serviced but he followed me to the back and kept questioning me while I was waiting for the quick bike repair. He made statements along the line of "I'm not a cop, cops are held to public standards, I'm held to private standards", said he could ban me from the store, that he was tight with the owner, and took my photo without asking permission. He asked for an apology which I said I would not give him since he was being rude, and that whether we like each other or not is irrelevant to his job and me shopping at the store. I left feeling intimidated and stressed after getting my bike serviced. I also bought bike lights, and the cashier was nice. Overall this is too bad because I like SportingLife and usually it is a friendly environment, but I'm unsure if I will be back. Approx 12:40 pm Thursday June 4th 2026.

  Buying a bike here was a great experience! Most of the staff is super friendly. We had the luck to have Vaughan, to honestly guide us through the process to make sure we have something that suits our needs, and even suggested places to go to try it out! We truly recommend it, and if you have Vaughan you will have a great one!
