  The cash staff here are either young & inexperienced or bad at communicating with each other when customers are around. Associate #52406 was in such a hurry to shut the store that he was skipping steps in the process to serving us. First, he raised customer expectations by telling us a 20% discount can be applicable on a purse that was a last piece in the shop, without confirmation with his manager. Then backtracked to confirm with his manager (possible relation between manager and employee). To his credit he tried to give a 20% discount and then asked hurriedly about if there was any damage to the piece. When pointed out some stuff marks on the purse, the manager took the item and started using a wet wipe on the piece to clean it and directed to sell at regular price. Both employee & manager asked again where the blemishes were and when we pointed it out, talked about a 10% discount and at a clearance deal (i.e. no exchanges). In the end, we were just bewildered and felt the interaction was a little rude. The entire time the manager kept saying "oh someone will buy it anyways". Basic customer service etiquette demands that internal policies and communications occur privately and not in front of the customer. If you can do something, do something, if you cant, don't. Reputations take time to build and moments of carelessness or rudeness hurt the business. This one review wont hurt this establishment, but it certainly turned a pleasant evening into a unsavoury one. Management should teach better and do better. Yes, we always have that impatience when we want to close shop, nevertheless, dont abandon your customer service training.

  Had the most wonderful experience here thanks to the staff member Agalia. She was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Best DSW location I’ve been to!

  Was easy to navigate around the store. The sales staff was excellent. I cannot say enough of her patience, courteous service and above all her attentiveness. Smiling with sincerity and putting up with we two seniors. She was most certainly put to the test today and rose above and beyond. She is the epitome of what service should be. Many THANKS! My only regret was not asking or seeing her name!
