- CDCan DecJun 20, 20261.0This is just my experience, but after dealing with this for almost a year, I feel like people should know. The Langford parka I received felt noticeably less insulated than the same model I tried in store. It was lighter, colder, and never felt right to me. I reached out to customer service within the first year of purchase asking for one thing only: a replacement. I wasn’t trying to get money out of them. I just wanted a jacket that felt like the one I thought I was buying. Instead, what was presented as a “lifetime warranty” felt, in my opinion, virtually nonexistent. I spent months calling, following up, and waiting for updates without a meaningful resolution. I received a poorly stitched, under-filled jacket and explanations that I personally found confusing. At one point they applied a DWR treatment even though my concern had always been the lack of warmth, not water resistance. I was even offered a $100 refund for a separate stitching-related quality issue, but that didn’t address the main problem I was raising. The most frustrating part is that I tried this jacket in store before purchasing, yet the one I received felt completely different. After everything I went through, I was still left without the replacement I asked for and with conflicting responses over the course of nearly a year. This was my experience within the first year of ownership. After what I went through, I personally wouldn’t trust Canada Goose’s warranty process, and I wish I had known that before making my purchase.
