I made the effort to drive really far out to this location since it was supposedly the “closest” one to me. Still a long drive, but I said whatever, I’ll do it. I brought four huge bags of clothes, good brands only, Brandy Melville, Garage, a lot of it brand new with tags still on. They told me 45 minutes for the buyback. So I planned my whole afternoon around that, killed time nearby, came back an hour later, and got hit with “oh my god, we’re so sorry, it’s not ready yet.” I wasn’t there to browse. I was there to sell my stuff and leave.
Since I live far, I had my boyfriend drive back out later to grab everything for me. Honestly, thank god it was him and not me, because after all that effort, all that driving, all that time, you handed back ONE top, ONE pair of Jordans, and $12. Twelve dollars. After I drove that far, for that long, for four bags of clean, current, resellable clothing. I already know those Jordans alone are going right back on your shelf for $80 or more.
If you’re going to lowball people this badly, at least don’t waste hours of someone’s day who went out of their way for you. Give real time estimates instead of stringing people along for nothing. All that effort for twelve dollars is genuinely insulting
