For the most part, I love this store. However, the manager with dark hair and glasses has a terrible personality that he vaguely disguises with niceties. I’ve done my own test runs with him: he pushes cost, acts like he knows more than you, and gets defensive if you disagree with him or don't choose what he wants. I’ve also noticed that if you play dumb or naive, he is suddenly more than willing to cooperate. I'm short, his ego is taller than him. Recently, I brought it to his attention that I was paying almost ten dollars more here for a product that I can get right up the road. He just exclaimed that they charge more for everything in the store. However, after finally dealing with one of the other staff members—whom I adore—I learned that they actually do price matching. The manager clearly doesn't tell people this because he cares more about padding his numbers than building a good rapport with customers, especially returning ones. The rest of the staff is kind, helpful, and wonderful to deal with; I never have to pretend to be a certain way around them because their energy is completely different. Today, the manager tried to tell me that they can't price match the way I've been doing it. This restriction only came up because I immediately stated I was price matching a product that costs $16 elsewhere versus the price he was trying to charge me. We all know how people act when they don't like being called out. Moving forward, I will walk out empty-handed any time I see him in the store. I will only deal with the other employees who work here. I’ve sat on this feeling for a while because I don't like complaining, but I’m sick of brushing things off just because society has normalized bad behaviour. The rest of the staff here are amazing, but this manager is making it hard to support the business. I'm not the only one who agrees as his behaviour and personality has been a topic amongst many people I encounter who have stepped foot in there. I've been observing this pattern for quite some time.

No idea how good this location is, because we arrived at 9:20 and there was a sign they would 'be back' at 9:40. Not waiting almost 20 mins when they close at 10. We found a diff dispensary. I get that maybe it was a slow night, but come on, guys.
