  If I could give less than one star, I would. Very disappointing experience and customer service. Bought sunglasses from Sunglass Hut at Bayshore in Ottawa in December. At the time of purchase, I was told the glasses had a one-year warranty that included scratches. Recently the lenses became heavily scratched and the frame, and when I visited another Sunglass Hut location, they initially told me a replacement might be possible. However, the Bayshore location later said scratches are only covered if a separate protection plan was purchased, which was never clearly explained to me at the time of sale. What made the experience even worse was the customer service at the Bayshore location. When I walked into the store, the sales lady told me she was busy and asked me to come back in 15 minutes. I returned after 15 minutes, and then she asked me to wait another 5 minutes again. This is not the level of service customers should receive, especially after spending a significant amount of money on expensive sunglasses. The most frustrating part was receiving different information from different employees. Customers should receive clear, honest, and consistent explanations about warranty coverage before purchasing expensive eyewear.

  Sold me scratched sunglasses, once processed we noticed it (1 minute later) and they refused to return the glasses to save on their numbers for the overall store sales. Store admits they missed the scratch but refused to return. Complete scam of a store. They get robbed 2 weeks ago so they started robbing customers. Avoid.

  The store associate that I dealt with today march 3/2026 at 1215 in Bayshore mall was extremely unhelpful. I bought a ray ban from tanger and wanted to return it . The store lady said its seems to be used and she can c a micro scope scratch and its almost near a month. She refused to take it back!! It was not used and policy says one month return. When i ask her can i talk to the manager she said she is the manager so i got stuck. I will keep the glasses but not going back to sunglass hut!!!

  Amazing staff! Especially, Venessa and Aziz were incredibly helpful and kind. I had a great experience shopping at Sunglass Hut in Bayshore. Thank you!

  Very Very Poor service 😡,and I went to purchase sunglasses on 15th December, 2025, but their system was hang and I paid 400$ , and they told me that they will refund with 3to 4 business days, it's almost 6 days gone and till date I haven't received my refund.
