- AMA MMar 12, 20261.0I went this store on March 10th around 3 pm. Two female employees were on their smartphones and no greeting or nodding to me. There’s no way they didn’t notice me because I was checking winter jackets right by the cashier counter where they were. Then I went out to get my husband and daughter to ask their opinion. As soon as my hubby got near the counter, they greeted us!! That pissed me off. Why they ignored me when I went in by myself!!?? Is it because I am Asian? (my hubby is caucasian) or is it because he’s a male? Either way, they shouldn’t treat customers differently. I was looking forward to checking this store as I’m not from this area and there’s no Columbia store where I live. I told my husband that I don’t want to buy anything from them and he said you are not buying from them, you are buying from the company. I didn’t agree with him. I just left with empty hands and unsettling feeling. I hope the company address their behaviour and no one else get treated like I did.

He listened to my needs and asked appropriate questions to help me narrow down a jacket. I appreciated his knowledge and honesty. He could have told me the jacket I was looking at would be fine but after hearing my needs he’s made a different suggestion on a jacket that was not available in store but available online. Thank you to Jason for being patient and honest. I came home and ordered the jacket online.
