I took my daughter back to school shopping for the first time here. She loved it. Staff was really friendly and looked genuinely happy to be at work. It was an overall very welcoming experience. I will be back next weekend with my son to do some more shopping.

I moved here recently and was sad to leave my old Plato’s behind but I’m happy to say this one fills the void and exceeds expectations. My wife brought clothes in yesterday morning and the girl at the front was helpful and let me know that they were being selective which was fair enough considering they did turn all clothes away. But they have good selection on the floor and from what I saw an event coming up too. Would shop again.

workers are very unprofessional and rude.
30 minutes before closing time some workers were very loudly talking about how it’s 30 minutes before closing time and how they should start cleaning making people feel pressured into leaving then started loudly giggling rather than telling the customers that they close soon. very unprofessional

I came to Plato’s Closet Milton today with a good impression of this location, but unfortunately, my experience completely changed that.
I went into the store because they were having a clearance sale. I asked the employee at the buying counter how long the process would take, and she told me approximately 30 minutes. I explained that I wanted to drop off a bag of clothes, and she told me to bring it in.
I went back to my truck, brought the bag inside, and placed it on the counter. The employee signed me up, and I stayed in the store browsing while I waited.
A short time later, I received a message saying that my items were ready to be picked up. I went to the counter and was told that they had not purchased any of my items because they were “picky.”
I want to be very clear: I have no problem with a store rejecting my clothes. I understand that they have specific standards and that not every item will be accepted.
The problem is that they did not properly do their job.
When I went back to collect my bag, I realized that the bag had never even been taken from the counter. My clothes were not properly brought to the buying area, sorted, or inspected. The bag was still sitting exactly where I had placed it.
How can a store tell a customer that none of their items meet the standards when the items weren’t even properly taken from the counter and evaluated?
I took the time to bring the bag into the store, waited for the process, and followed their instructions. I expected my items to at least be properly looked through before a decision was made.
Instead, I left feeling disrespected, embarrassed, and humiliated.
Again, this is not about my clothes being rejected. I would have completely accepted that if the items had actually been inspected and I was simply told they didn’t meet the store’s criteria.
It’s about the fact that the buying process was not properly carried out, yet I was given the impression that my items had been evaluated. That is extremely disappointing and unprofessional.
I had a positive impression of this location before today, but this experience has completely changed my opinion. Customers deserve to have their time and belongings treated with respect.
Plato’s Closet can be selective about what they buy, but they should still do their job properly and treat customers professionally. Unfortunately, that was not my experience today.

Had an incident of staff members neglecting their job and exposing me changing in the changerooms on July 24. One staff member did not write my name or # of items on the board giving no indication someone was inside and A second staff member did not knock on my door then proceeded to swing the door open on me with my bra exposed to a male customer standing outside. I was completely mortified and shaken yet they both offered no apology and even laughed through the entire interaction afterwards. Other staff and manager did not seem to care much and I had to be the one to point out how unacceptable the incident was. Manager said to me that she hopes it doesn’t reflect the service of the store yet these staff continue to be the faces of their instagram. I wouldn’t come here especially as a woman and trust that I am protected in the changerooms, especially when staff lack any training and can’t even pretend to care when they expose you. I’ll attach the full email I sent corporate about the incident.
