  I rarely write Google reviews, but this time I really wanted to recognize someone who truly went above and beyond with outstanding customer service. I would like to acknowledge Pierre at Sporting Life Markville for his excellent support and professionalism. One day, I was looking for a pickleball paddle, Joola PRO V and called the store with several questions. Pierre patiently answered all of them and even held the paddle I was looking for. When I arrived at the store, another staff member told me that Pierre had asked to be paged when I came in. He personally brought the merchandise to me, provided helpful suggestions and advice, and made the whole shopping experience comfortable and enjoyable. In today’s retail environment, it is rare to find someone who genuinely cares about helping customers the way Pierre does. He is a model employee and an example of what world-class customer service should look like. Sporting Life management, Jesse, should be proud to have a staff member like him.   The salesperson named Jahna in the shoe department was so helpful with helping me! The store didnt have the shoe I wanted however it was online and I also had a gift card to redeem. She assisted me in making my online purchase and redeem the gift card. She could have just referred me to the online site. Prior to that she was very helpful in bringing me a variety of different options in store. She was very pleasant and a pleasure to deal with. What a great experience!

  If you're looking for some sort of performance related shoe, find Johnathan. He was so helpful in helping me find my first pair of running shoes. Incredibly knowledgeable about the shoes and the different technologies of the shoes that make each one a little different. I was there for what felt like forever and he was very patient and never pressured me once to just buy something nor did he pressure me to buy the most expensive shoe. He truly wanted me to find something I was happy with and comfortable in. Would not hesitate to come back to find Johnathan again and would highly recommend finding him if you're looking for a pair of new shoes!

  Sean was extremely helpful during my shoe shopping experience at Sporting Life. He took the time to understand what I was looking for, answered my questions, and made the whole process easy and comfortable. He was really friendly, patient, and professional throughout my visit. Overall, I had a great experience buying shoes from Sporting Life, and Sean’s excellent customer service made it even better. I would definitely recommend shopping there.

  I want to give a huge shout out to Johnathan in your shoe department (Markville Mall) - he provided exceptional customer service. He greeted my daughter and I with a smile and was very patient and helpful while my daughter tried on multiple pairs of shoes in her quest for a great pair of running shoes. She had her heart set on Hoka’s, but none of them felt comfortable. Despite Johnathan suggesting other brands for her to try and giving her multiple options, my daughter decided to go get lunch. We came back an hour later to try one more time and again Johnathan greeted us with a smile. He again suggested the latest On running shoes (which he said he wears and really likes) and this time my daughter decided to try them. They were perfect - she loved them. She came home and immediately went for a run and has been loving them ever since. I want to thank Johnathan for making our shopping experience both successful and a pleasure. In this day and age, when customer service is at an all time low (which we also experienced that day), I was very impressed to meet a young man who was happy to do his job and do it well.
