- TLTaylor LJun 28, 20261.0Very clear their sales people only care about perceived income. For reference my fiance and I make over $200k a year but prefer to live a modest life. My fiance saw a ring online he liked because of design - expense does not matter as much as liking the product to us- so we went to try it on. The salesman immediately made judgmental comments about how they don’t even carry it in store because it’s essentially costume jewelry. As well as several other comments about “you don’t have to buy here, you don’t have to buy today, there are plenty of other jewelry stores in London you can go to, we want people to become long term clients who come back again and again”. The ring was available from this business on their online website, but he didn’t have it. He offered to email the company and get back to us and when he got back to us essentially told us it was likely discontinued… even though it’s for sale on the website. Overall horrible and stuck up experience. Jewelry shopping needs to be accessible and welcoming for all income levels the clothing a customer wears should not determine how they are treated. We were in and out within 10 minutes with his comments and impatience.
