  Went in looking for a pair of jeans, couldn’t really find anything until this awsome lady came and helped me out I believe she said her name was Millet. She searched the store and the back to find a pair I liked and that fit. 5 stars will be back again thanks Millet for making this an enjoyable experience!

  I came into American Eagle, White Oak Mall, just with the intent to simply shop around and maybe grab a new pair of jeans. I had recently lost a bunch of weight and my previous American Eagle jeans were getting way too baggy so I was really hoping to find a pair that could fit me right. Immediately when I walked into the store, I was not greeted once instead I saw the store manager, Timea on her phone (I know that she was the store manager because I had to ask another employee about it). During my time in American Eagle, I consistently saw Timea lurking around almost following me like I was going to steal something. Every single pair of jeans I picked up she would repeatedly follow me and attempt to clean it immediately after, and it almost felt like I was intruding in her business. Genuinely this experience made me so uncomfortable instead of greeting me with a warm smile I saw her standing being on her phone and then looking irritated every time I touched a pair of jeans. I decided to leave the store because I felt quite uncomfortable. I came back a different day and this time it was even more unpleasant than the last. Once again, I was not greeted which is very confusing because despite all the negative reviews I thought American Eagle was supposed to have friendly employees. Once again, I took a walk around the store and actually found a couple pairs that I wanted to give on a try. I go into the fitting room and immediately I am hit with an annoyed irritated face by the Assistant manager named Becca. Not once does she decide to help me instead she looked irritated, just like her store manager everytime time I touched something now I’m confused because I also work in retail and I’m pretty sure the goal of the job is to sell as much products as you can while, also helping the customers and not once did I feel those things happening. She genuinely gave me so much attitude did not want to answer any questions and quite literally was doing nothing. Now, unfortunately, I have realized that this is a Pattern with These two members on the management team. This is extremely disappointing as it’s extremely tainting to the reputation of the store and the overall company. I’m quite confused why there has been no penalization to these two as they have so many negative reviews and other people that I have spoken with Who have went into this location. I’ve also had the same issue with constant disrespect dirty looks and no help at all.. all the employees consistently look upset and stressed out and I’m starting to see the reason why. something seriously needs to be done about these two because you guys are genuinely losing so many customers and I know many people who purposely drive all the way to Masonville to avoid these two. If American Eagle really cared about their company, they would do some serious retraining or even re-hiring because this is one of the worst American Eagle I have ever been to in my entire life. I would like both corporate and HR’s contact info so I can further explain this issue in more detail and hope that something happens because you guys: American Eagle White Oak Mall have a very bad reputation and the reviews and overall in store experience shows this.

  Had one experience with changing rooms today. I was trying on a shirt. Usually for changing rooms they knock before they unlock the door. The lady didn’t knock and just unlocked the door while I was inside changing. The other customers came in and I was really uncomfortable. They did leave once noticing me and the lady that was working kinda laughed it off. I felt quite embarrassed due to the fact I was still changing. I expected an apology but was met with nothing and the door aggressively closed. Once I was done and walked out, I was met with an odd look and still no apology. I didn’t see that lady’s name but I do know she had a short bob hair cut with brown hair. I shop here very often and haven’t ever had an experience like this. I don’t mean any bad blood to the store or employees but this situation did make me quite uncomfortable. I would have probably gotten over it if I was give an apology.

  WILL NOT BE COMING BACK! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE from Rebecca, she is the manager, I was asking her for prices and she was getting irritated. No act I did was irritating at all. As I was leaving, I heard her gossping about a customer to her coworker. I will take the extra drive from St. Thomas to Masonville. Store Team Leader please address this issue.
