  ⭐ Disappointing and Unacceptable Customer Service at The Shoe Company in Kingston Date of visit: Sunday, October 11, 2026 I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I experienced at The Shoe Company in Kingston. I found a pair of shoes that I really liked and was interested in purchasing. However, when I asked about the shoes, they were brought back to the display area, and I was rudely told to get them back from the display. What made the experience even more upsetting was that three sales staff members were laughing at us. As a Filipino customer and a Muslim woman wearing a hijab, I felt embarrassed, uncomfortable, and disrespected by their behaviour. I cannot say for certain why they were laughing, but the situation made us feel unwelcome and raised serious concerns about the way we were treated. I understand that employees have responsibilities and that stores have policies, but there is no excuse for speaking rudely to customers or laughing at them. Every customer deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of their nationality, religion, or appearance. I genuinely liked the shoes and wanted to make a purchase, but the staff’s behaviour completely ruined the shopping experience for me. A retail store should make customers feel welcome, not embarrassed or humiliated. I hope the management of The Shoe Company in Kingston takes this feedback seriously and addresses this matter with the staff. Good customer service means treating every customer with kindness, professionalism, and respect. Unfortunately, that was not the experience we received, and I would think twice before shopping at this location again.

  If you're going to close the store for Stat holidays, no problem. It would be helpful if your website store hours are updated to clearly show "closed".The phrase "differing hours" is normally understood to mean "reduced hours", not "closed". Thank you.
