  Be very careful when using your rewards here. The first time I tried to use my reward, it didn’t go through, and the cashier told me to contact customer service. Customer service eventually credited the reward back to my account. When I tried to use it again, the exact same thing happened. The reward didn’t apply to my purchase and immediately disappeared from my account. The cashier didn’t mention anything. I only noticed because I calculated the total myself and realized the reward had not been applied. When I brought it up, I was told the reward had expired. That made no sense because the reward was visible in my app right before they scanned it. If it had already expired, why was it still available in my account and able to be scanned? After some back and forth, the staff acknowledged the issue and again told me to contact customer service. However, after going back and forth with customer service multiple times, they refused to restore the reward or refund the amount. The whole rewards system feels extremely misleading. A reward can disappear from your account without being applied to your purchase, and afterward you have practically no way to prove what happened. I would strongly recommend checking your receipt and total immediately whenever you use a reward.

  I had a great experience at American Eagle yesterday thanks to Enarah. She was incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful from the moment she approached me. She took the time to answer my questions, helped me find what I needed, and made the whole shopping experience easy and enjoyable without ever making me feel rushed. It’s not often you come across customer service like this, and I really appreciated her positive attitude. American Eagle is lucky to have someone like Enarah on the team. Thank you again for the excellent service!
