  The friendly stranger in Dundas is a cannabis store with some decent variety, a spacious cool interior design and kind staff that help you quick but it's prices are a little high and the current manager is an inconsistent and uninformative dude. A few months back I stopped at the Dundas location to check it out. I asked the male manager if they do price matching and he told me as long as it's on the website "bestbangforyourbud" or "Highbuddy" we can price match the product. FYI: I price match just too save a buck or two at most on some prerolls it's nothing crazy like 50$ or 100$ off and because this store is on the way home from my work it's convenient as well. Well a few months have passed since and now manager says we only price match within a 5km radius? (AKA Dundas) Now this basically stops me from price matching because no other cannabis store within the 5km have what I smoke. The place I was matching against was only 10km away (It's my original spot near my home with the same product) I asked manager why wouldn't YOU have informed me you only price match within the 5km radius in the first place when I started coming here months ago? He said I don't remember telling you that and then tried push the blame on the other staff misinforming me about it the whole time. Dude clearly forgot he made the mistake in the first place and I thought that it was quite unprofessional that even if he forgot why blame other staff if you are yourself clueless about the situation? He seemed bit on edge and I didn't wanna argue over a buck or two and I left. It was just awkward all around. I came here almost every other day for my smoke, would save money and it was nice for a while! Now I will just go get my smoke at my original spot and save money there! EDIT: I would like to add I've been too the Cambridge friendly stranger location and posted a review. I was treated perfect they price matched no issue and the lady manager even gave me a personal discount when i told her about the dundas location issue. She was very kind and the store also was interesting lots of art and cool stuff. Overall I realize it's not the friendly strangers fault but just a bad apple in the business.

  Did you seriously call security on my little cousin for sitting out side in the SHADE????? He’s diabetic ! HAVE YOU BEEN OUTISDE AND FELT THE WETHER? you know what, no I’ve had problems with this store before but never left a review, one time I made a purchase and the bag was opened and upon noticing it I said I’d like to return they refused. Regardless the fact who ever was working at 10:am today July the second. Is noisy, and can’t mind their business. And I’ll be making a call 📞 it’s NOT ILLEGAL TO SIT IN THE DAMN SHADE IN 30 degree plus weather. Tattle tale
