  My most recent experience in your store was excellent. I easily found what I wanted and the service was courteous and professional. I will be back. Thank you for a positive experience in a well run store.

  Purchased a 6-pack of Nike Men’s Ankle Socks in size XL from this location. When I got home and opened them up, I was shocked to find that 3 of the 6 pairs were mismatched sizes (1 XL sock and 1 sock that was smaller - see attached photo). Store said final sale on socks and they didn’t give me a receipt so I’ve got 3 pairs that are garbage out of the 6. I won’t be shopping here again. Tried to reach out on Sporting Life’s web site but when sending the customer form I got a response saying “you have been blocked” LOL

  Visited Sporting Life to see if I could find something suitable to wear on an upcoming flight to South Korea. Was introduced to a lovely associate named Willow. I told her I was thinking of trying on the Adidas skirt as it would accommodate the knee brace I have to wear. I was looking for suggestions as to what kind of top/jacket might work best with the skirt. Willow was friendly, knowledgable of the store’s merchandise, and we browsed throughout the store as she pointed out hoodies, sweaters, and jackets that might work with the skirt. She was also happy to see how the skirt and various top pieces looked on me. We narrowed it down to a couple options and I mentioned I wanted to look around the mall a bit more in case I saw something else. Willow not only put the items aside for me, she had added a couple of tops for my consideration. When I returned to purchase the skirt, I was touched that she had taken the extra time to find me other options. I can’t remember the last time I had experienced such a personalized experience in a department store. Willow is an absolute gem and Sporting Life is very fortunate to have such a conscientious and friendly lady working for them.

  On 7/21 I came to return a bike seat I had purchased from the same location. The first staff member scanned the barcode on my receipt, handed it back to me, and coldly said “it’s not the right receipt do you have another one.” I explained that this was the receipt I had received at the same checkout desk, and the item was clearly listed on it. She gave me another cold look and just repeated that “the seat pad wasn’t on the receipt.” I was so confused. She called someone else over, and the other staff member explained that the item’s barcode on the receipt was linked to another seat pad with a different image and barcode in the system. I asked if she was sure the stock image accurately reflected the latest product design, and she admitted she wasn’t either. I went to the aisle and picked up the same seat pad. It turned out the stock image was outdated. I also noticed a different sticker on all the tags of the same product that overrode the original product barcode. The staff kept reiterating that the barcode in the system didn’t match the barcode on the product, as if I was expected to find a solution… well I quickly discovered that the original barcode underneath the sticker exactly matched the barcode in the system so it is the same product. Finally, they agreed to refund me after almost 20 mins, but the first cold-faced lady made me feel like I was a return scammer the entire time. The star goes to the second staff who patiently explained the issue and the staff at the bike section that was always very friendly.
