- AAAAug 2, 20261.0I was in the area today August 2nd,2026, so I decided to visit this platos closet Burlington location i purchases bought some items I only had a $100.00 bills the lady cashier that had I didnt get her name looked at at me so funny looking I ended up returned some stuff back that lady.cashier talked bad about me behind my back I didn't felt comfortable and that cashier lady was kinda rude to me and she wasn't nice

Then they offered me around $2-3 per item for stuff that retails for $130 one year ago. Like really? At that point, I’d rather they just ask for donations because at least it would be more honest lol. Needless to say I told them no thanks. If you’re thinking of bringing in clothes here hoping to make any money, you’d make more money selling one piece on FB marketplace than on a whole haul here.

Immediately felt the energy shift as boss (I believe her name is Abby) would snap at her young overworked staff. She seems demanding and narcissistic, I feel bad for the young workers and can tell it affects them.

The selection was fantastic, and every item felt like such a great find. It’s definitely way more exciting shopping like this than paying full price at the mall. They even have a separate section full of Lulus and Aritzia sweats, which was such a nice surprise. You never know what hidden gems you’re going to come across. I can’t wait to shop there again!
