  ⭐ 1 Star I had a very disappointing experience with Plato’s Closet Barrie. Their return policy is misleading. They say you can return items within a week, but when you actually go back, they find excuses not to honor the return. In my case, they claimed the sticker was missing—even though these are second-hand items and the stickers are often old, unclear, or easy to come off. It felt like they were looking for any reason to avoid giving a refund. I also tried to sell items that were in excellent condition, including a pair of brand-new sandals. After making me wait, they refused to accept them and simply told me to donate them. It was a complete waste of my time. The staff were not cooperative or customer-friendly. I felt they were inconsistent, and at times they seemed to mislead customers instead of providing honest service. Some of the products are nice, but customer service and the return process are very disappointing. Be very careful before buying anything because if you need to return it, you may face unnecessary excuses. Based on my experience, I do not find this store trustworthy, and I won’t be shopping here again.

  Should give more details before people waste time bringing stuff in. Like has to be 3 years in style or we don't take new stuff because I had items with tag on it and never been worn items. Just be clear its not that hard.

  Buy counter is always closed after 3pm on weekdays and almost every weekend. They never want to take your things and sell the most hideous items. Horrible customer service, don’t support this business.

  Ashley and Alex are my favourite part about this store! They were both so friendly, helpful, and welcoming from the moment I walked in. You can tell they genuinely care about customers and creating a positive experience. The store was organized, the service was excellent, and this is the best Plato’s out there!
