  Tried to order an inflatable boat, shipping was $20 but then they added a $160 special handling fee. I'll stick with Amazon for free shipping with same product

  Excellent service ,Jim was very helpful in making my choice on what frame back pack to buy also the selection has improved alot in the store now Look forward to taking my son back to pick out some camping and buntings supplies for our moose hunt this year

  I take the time to write reviews for one of two reasons, exceptionally good service or exceptionally bad service. Everything else falls into the category of people just doing a job they are paid to do. That being said, today I had an issue with a mix up with an online store pick up order. The item was not correct and after confirming the order number online did match the product picked but the description was wrong. The customer service person called Dan. I think he was a manager but not 100% sure about that. In any case, he took my information and told me that he would look into it and get it straightened out. He did that and actually called before I could get back to work to tell me he found the item I was looking for. This was NOT a big ticket item but the fact that he took it upon himself to look into the issue rather than brushing it off as a computer issue like so many would do is exceptional service in my book! Thank you Dan! You certainly made me feel like you care about every order and purchase no matter the size of the order!

  Stopped by the Barrie Bass Pro to grab couple of Yeti. Quick and easy trip—the kids had a comfortable spot to hang out by the front reception area while we picked out what we needed. Friendly staff and a great store as always!

  The store had a great selection, and I was excited to shop there. Unfortunately, my experience in the sunglasses department was disappointing. The staff repeatedly reminded two fully grown adults to “be careful not to scratch the lenses,” which came across as condescending rather than helpful. We understand the need to protect merchandise, but the way it was communicated made us feel unwelcome. I ended up taking a photo of the tag and purchasing the sunglasses elsewhere. A little customer service training and a friendlier approach would go a long way.
