- ETEvelyn TorresJan 18, 20261.0Very disappointing curbside pickup experience at the JCPenney at Westfield Plaza Bonita (National City, CA). I arrived for curbside pickup and was given the wrong item. To report the mistake, we briefly went inside and remained in the curbside spot. This location only has one designated curbside parking space. While the issue was being corrected, another customer complained and, instead of resolving the situation appropriately, the associate asked us to move, stating we were “no longer curbside,” even though the mistake originated with the store. Experiences like this highlight the importance of consistent customer service and clear curbside procedures. Customers who choose to shop in-store or use curbside pickup should feel supported, not inconvenienced. Improved training and additional curbside capacity would go a long way.

Recently, my daughter left her purse with her phone in the store, and thanks to an honest customer and the wonderful staff, it was safely returned. I’m so grateful for their kindness and professionalism. Highly recommend this location!
