    I had a very disappointing experience at the JCPenney jewelry counter with an associate named Thomas. We purchased chains from the jewelry section, and when we tried to put them on, they literally fell apart. We immediately returned to the store with the receipt and the tags still on the chains, expecting a simple refund or exchange due to the defective product. Thomas refused to help us. He would not offer a refund or even an exchange, despite the item clearly being defective and still having the tags attached. What made the situation worse was his attitude and behavior. He was extremely rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional throughout the interaction. After leaving, we contacted other **JCPenney locations, and they all told us they would have gladly processed a refund or exchange in this situation. That only made this experience more frustrating. The level of customer service Thomas provided was unacceptable and reflected very poorly on the company. It is extremely disappointing that someone representing JCPenney would treat customers this way. Experiences like this make customers not want to return.     I recently had a disappointing experience at the Montebello location of JC Penny. A tall, blonde staff member appeared overly enthusiastic, issuing directives to her colleagues. Unfortunately, her behavior escalated into a heated argument with another employee regarding an overexposure issue, which was unprofessional and loud. To his credit, the other employee maintained composure, apologized to nearby customers, and walked away from the confrontation. I was impressed by his professionalism. The tall, blonde staff member, who I believe was named Abigail, handled the situation poorly. She subsequently instructed another colleague to expedite the pace inside the photo studio. Regrettably, this unprofessional behavior resulted in my photos taking an additional hour to review, and upon development, they were somewhat blurry. I sincerely hope JC Penny provides enhanced training to staff members, particularly the aforementioned individual.

    Yesterday, I visited the Montevello studio for a Santa event photo shoot with my daughter. Upon checking in, I waited 10 minutes to be called, which was understandable given the event's popularity. However, I found the photographer's service to be subpar. She seemed disinterested in her work and frequently glanced over her shoulder. I observed that she appeared to be in a romantic relationship with a coworker at the front desk, as he was constantly by her side throughout the studio. During the photo shoot, the atmosphere felt off, and I was rushed through the pricing explanation. The photographer rolled her eyes when I inquired about editing the premium card. Overall, it was an unpleasant experience. I was disappointed, and my daughter picked up on my unhappiness. I regret to say that I will not be returning to the studio. I hope the manager reads this review and addresses the photographer's behavior, which I found to be rude. I intend to contact the corporate office. The photographer's name is Jennifer.
