I really love this mall! You can find a huge variety of specialty foods from all around the world — perfect if you’re a foodie or just like trying new things. The stores also have great deals, which is a bonus when you’re in the mood to shop. One of the best things is that it stays open late, so it’s packed with people who enjoy shopping and dining in the evening. The vibe is lively but not overwhelming, making it a fun place to hang out, grab a bite, and explore a little. Whether you’re hunting for unique snacks, trying new dishes, or just strolling around for fun, it’s an easy spot to spend a few hours. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area!
The accessibility leaves much to be desired. Parking is one of the primary concerns for visitors. During peak hours, finding a parking spot can be a frustrating endeavor. The parking lots are often crowded, and the layout can be confusing for first-time visitors. There are designated areas for different stores, but the signage is unclear, leading to a chaotic experience. Moreover, the parking spaces themselves are quite narrow, making it difficult for larger vehicles to maneuver without the risk of scratching neighboring cars. The options for those relying on public transportation are limited. There are a few bus stops nearby, but the frequency of buses is not ideal for those who depend on them for regular visits. The lack of a nearby train station also adds to the inconvenience for those who prefer to use public transit. Great Mall boasts a mix of retail stores, but the selection is mixed. A few standout stores offer unique products, but many of the shops feel generic and overpriced. For instance, you can find several high-end boutiques that sell clothing and accessories, but the prices are often steep, and the quality does not always justify the cost. Several specialty stores cater to niche markets. While these stores might appeal to specific demographics, they do not have a broad appeal that would attract diverse customers. For example, there is a store dedicated to high-end kitchen gadgets, which might be interesting for culinary enthusiasts but unlikely to draw in the average shopper. In addition to retail stores, there are a few service-oriented businesses, such as dry cleaners, hair salons, and fitness centers. These services are convenient for regular visitors but do not add much to the shopping experience. They serve a practical purpose but lack the excitement that one might expect from a shopping destination. The dining options at Great Mall are perhaps its strongest suit, yet even here, the experience is lukewarm. There is a decent variety of eateries, from casual cafes to more upscale restaurants. However, the quality of food varies significantly from one establishment to another. Some cafes and bakeries offer a range of pastries, sandwiches, and coffee for casual dining. While these spots are convenient for a quick bite, the food is often average. There is nothing particularly memorable about the menu items; the prices are higher for what you get. For instance, a simple sandwich and coffee can set you back more than expected, and the taste is nothing to write home about. On the other hand, a few upscale dining options offer a more refined culinary experience. These restaurants tend to have better food quality but also have a higher price tag. While the ambiance in these restaurants is generally pleasant, the overall dining experience does not always justify the cost. The service can be hit or miss, and the wait times during peak hours can be long, detracting from the overall experience. One of the redeeming qualities of Great Mall is its pleasant ambiance. The shopping center is designed with a village-like feel, featuring outdoor walkways, seating areas, and greenery. This setup creates a relaxed and inviting atmosphere, making it a nice place to stroll around, especially on a sunny day. However, more than the ambiance is needed to elevate the overall experience. While the outdoor seating areas are a nice touch, they can get crowded quickly, especially during weekends and holidays. This means finding a spot to sit and enjoy your meal or coffee can be challenging. Additionally, the noise levels can get quite high during busy times, detracting from the otherwise serene environment. The design of the shopping center is also somewhat outdated. While it has a quaint charm, it lacks the modern amenities and aesthetic many newer shopping centers offer.

Has good stores, however, the customer service was bad and very slow at pretty much each place we stopped at. I would've understood if the stores were busy with lots of customers or if stores were short staffed, but they weren't. On top of this, there were homeless people walking around inside, and the Adidas store checker forgot to take the sensor off a shirt we bought, and we didn't notice until we got home, which is 30 minutes away. The cherry on top was at the end of our visit at the Lego Discovery Center. I was at the kiosk inside getting ready to get tickets, but stopped and walked out for 2 minutes to get my husband and when I came right back there was a sign that they were closed/ full. The employee saw me at the kiosk with my 4 yr old toddler 2 minutes before, but didn't give me a heads up. I approached him when I saw the sign and was like, please I was just here at the kiosk, I was getting my husband, but nothing... So my toddler didn't get to go inside. Disappointing. If there's a next time, I'll get tickets in advance and mentally prepare for the very mediocre service overall.
