  in the past i’ve come to plato’s closet on a weekend to sell my items and it takes maybe 15-30 minutes. today though, i came on a Tuesday morning and had a COMPLETELY different experience. it took them 2 hours to go through my small box of maybe 20 items. i was quoted 20 minutes, i came back in 40 minutes and they said they were almost done but the box had not moved. i asked how much longer and was told likely another 15-20 minutes. when i said i had somewhere to be, the staff member suggested i look around the store to kill time… 1 hour later i finally received a text that it was complete and i was on my way, but i don’t think i’ll be back to this location. at least not during the week. not all of us have the entire day to wait around and sell an $80 shirt for 4 cents. please be more courteous of your customers time and give them accurate quotes. we’re already being robbed with the payout.

  I wanted to recognize an employee named Franchesca for providing such an outstanding shopping experience. From the moment I was in the store, she stood out because of how kind, approachable, and welcoming she was. Every time she walked by, she checked in to ask if I was doing alright or if I needed any help. She never came across as pushy—instead, she made me feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. Her friendly smile and positive attitude made the entire experience much more enjoyable. We did converse for a bit and I complimented her and her response was "You should give our store a 5 star review" in a very funny and kind way. I also noticed that she treated every customer with the same level of care and respect. What impressed me most was how hardworking and professional she was. Even while staying busy with her tasks, she never seemed too occupied to help a customer. She balanced keeping the store organized with providing excellent customer service, which isn’t always easy to do. Her attention to detail, strong work ethic, patience, and willingness to go above and beyond did not go unnoticed. I really appreciated this experience as I didn't have the best experience with one of the employees here last time I came. Employees like Franchesca create the kind of experience that makes customers want to return. She is a wonderful representative of your company, and I hope she receives the recognition she deserves for her exceptional customer service, professionalism, and dedication. Thank you, Franchesca, for making my visit such a positive and memorable one!
