drove all the way to bass pro from out of town go to the fishing department and had hardly nothing on the shelf and the sail suff what a a jock 2 bucks off of one hook from normal price come on bass pro get it together

I love this location usually and have never had an issue before. Place has always been ran well and have always found the employees kind and helpful.
However I do need to quickly note someone (I believe a manager), named Amy speaking quite crudely towards an employee (didnt catch their name) and just wanted to mention it as I was quite uncomfortable afterwards and the employee seemed in a bit of distress from the treatment. I didn't catch the whole conversation in fairness, but the manager was denying some kind of vacation time but in such a tone that I would never tolerate. I was only passing by, but the mere aggression from this individual felt so hostile that I felt deeply disturbed from only witnessing.
Again, love this location and buying from this establishment and have never had a bad experience here hence two stars, however really feel the need for this to be addressed.

What happened to this place. Inventory is non-existent, staff just shrug their shoulders. This used to be where our family went for everything outdoors but our last visit will be our last ever. Very sad

Always a pleasure to enter one of their shops. The customer service is also great.
UPDATE Asked to.contact them. Complied with request. Asked for proof of purchase. Complied with request. Asked to call Manager. Called twice on two separate days. Not in. If I could.change my review to zero stars I would for wasting my time and reinforcing and confirming customer service does not exist in this store location, and it appears to come from top down.
Outdoorsman's Paradise, Customer Service Nightmare
The store itself is wonderfully stocked with just about every outdoor need you could think of, but the customer service department ironically delivers no customer service whatsoever.
We recently purchased nearly $500 worth of shells from this location. Upon opening them, we discovered that many of the boxes inside the flat we bought were severely warped and completely unusable. We brought a box back into customer service - not even looking for a refund - simply to raise awareness so they could check the rest of their inventory and avoid further unhappy customers.
Rather than being helpful, the staff immediately brushed us off stating "it wasn't their problem" and told us we had to contact the manufacturer. We reiterated that while it might not be their personal fault, it is their stock on the shelves and reflects their reputation.
When we asked to speak to a manager, we were quickly told none were working. We then asked for an assistant manager or a supervisor, only to be told that absolutely no leadership was in the building at the time.
It is incredibly disappointing to spend that kind of money only to be treated with such dismissive indifference. Bass Pro Shops, you need to do better - MUCH MUCH better.
