- AHAmy HarrisFeb 23, 20261.0Went in to the Manteca store Saturday evening with my family, my husband, 2 of our sons and 2 daughter in laws and my infant grandson. We were at the counter looking at Firearms and could not get assistance for anything. 3 of us in the group wanted to make a hand gun purchase but NEVER once were we asked if we needed help. We watched as new people walked up and were helped immediately but NOT once were we even acknowledged!! The staff just avoided dealing with is at all costs, they would not even speak to us. We were quiet and polite as we looked around but we were Literally speechless watching this happen. We Love Bass Pro Shop and even wear and use a lot of their gear and appeal. This was a Low Blow and a hard pill to swallow because we seemed to be ignored so badly, I would like Management to view the footage to see this garbage treatment your employees provided absolutely No customer service or acknowledgement of our family. This was 2/21/26 in Manteca about 30 minutes before closing. We are a big biracial family to add. This whole experience was disheartening and very disappointing. Taught my family a lesson though. We will NOT continue to patronize a business that can not provide the respect to ALL customers NOT just a particular looking group. You guys should be ashamed and embarrassed of your employees behavior and teach better. We will Not be purchasing ANYTHING ever again from this company. This was truly shameful on your company. Stop the stereotype, we are a wholesome family and did not deserve to be treated any other way. We were treated as if we weren't there, as we did not matter as if we weren't worth your customer service and this is completely unacceptable!! Do better!

I asked this great gentleman to help me pick out a reel and rod combo and some crawfish bait and oh boy did he deliver! He recommended an Extreme STK Spinning Combo, Savage Gear 4D Crawfish and even did my line. That same day I went out to test the rod and the baits and caught 2 2lbs bass. Thank you Les!!!
