  Great store and great people but yesterday some resellers were threatening employees over the pearlized. Not a good look for the community. Always an easy cop at this store. Where’s mall security?

  Had a very gross/vile experience today at Vans Manhattan Beach for the brown pearlized drop, the store received 14 pairs of the men’s sku but decided to sell half of the shipment from a 5 to a 9 and the employees decided to keep sizes 9.5 to 13 how do I know this? Because the manager Hannah clearly stated they allocated half the shipment for the employees which is in clear violation of the 10% stock allocation for releases like this especially for a coveted release I know there’s very strict guidelines… her reasoning behind it was “the staff works hard, and they deserve it” the entitlement of the manager was very shocking, not to mention unfortunate cooperation from Javier and Shelby alongside Manager Hannah. Apparently this store is notorious for backdooring releases like these. I contacted corporate who assured me they will throughly investigate to make sure a situation like this doesn’t happen again. Just want a disclaimer to everyone to avoid this store, I will be back for the next special release (as this is my local) to make sure such things doesn’t happen again. Vans are for the consumer and not the resellers clearl working in this establishment.
