  My black wife was followed around in Aerie like she was going to steal something. She was easily one of the best dressed people in the store, and this isn’t the first time it’s happened; this has happened several times now. The part that really bothers me is that she kept going back because she’s “used” to it. No one should have to get used to being treated like that. It’s unacceptable, and honestly it makes me sick. Because of that, we won’t be coming back or ordering online anymore. I don’t understand how retail employees feel comfortable profiling Black women like this. Whatever training is in place clearly isn’t working, because this kind of treatment shouldn’t be happening at all.

  Visited this location yesterday for the first time in years and was immediately disappointed by the lack of acknowledgement from three employees that saw me walked in, but didn’t greet me or asked if I needed any assistance. As I walked towards the back, two of the three employees just kept talking to each other, blocking an area where I wanted to shop. It was obvious that I wanted to look in that said area, but the employees continued to ignore me. It was just before I decided to leave that one of them asked if I was finding everything okay (it felt automated and not genuine), which I wasn’t enthused about. So I left as the two employees continued to just chat to each other about non-work related things. Customer Service 101: Greet your customers as they come in. You should be available to help no matter if you’re in a middle of a task. These Gen Z workers are so disappointing nowadays.

  Really happy to still have American Eagle in my life! Their clothes fits me so perfect!! So many style shirts to pick from and I love their skinny jeans.. they are very soft!

  Very unhelpful customer service and unhelpful store workers. Did not remove the security tag off my clothes and did not help me because I did not have a receipt, even though I have the card used to purchase the item
