  I walked in today around 2 pm. There was an employee that greeted me then called me a boy. I'm 40yrs old. I didn't know I looked that young! Why thank you Sir!

  Went in to buy a rifle scope, waited about 10 mins, asked for help. The lady at the counter said she would call someone to come help me. Waited another 10 mins, watched her help 3 other people. No one came to show me the rifle scopes. Ended up just leaving.

  I am leaving a zero star review and warning customers not to go to the store. Google forces you to put in the first star or they will not allow you to submit your review. Please read review to save yourself time and hassle.The employees do not have proper training to be advising you to buy guns or ammunition in this store. I spent $100 on shotgun shells for my Mossberg M90. I told the gentleman I had a Mossberg M 90 not a 590 M 90 the Gentlemen proceeded to spend 30 minutes with me picking out bullets two out of three of The bullet cartridges that I bought worked the large bulk 100 round set of ammunition I bought didn’t it was a 3 inch shot instead of a 2 1/2 inch which my gun requires I didn’t know this at the time but I wasn’t alone the Gentlemen assisted me for 30 minutes while picking out these bullets this was Tuesday February 3 I come back in on Thursday, February 5 and I’m told by the two gentlemen that they could swap the bullets out and give me the correct shells then the manager lady named April who had the worst energy and attitude of any person in a store, I have yet to come across so far told me that she couldn’t help me out after the other two gentlemen we’re getting ready to help me so I felt very clearly that she was prejudiced against me because I was gay and she could tell that, so I feel like she is using her position of power to abuse and discriminate against me as a customer , I would think someone causing the company to lose substantial amounts of revenue would be detrimental to a company’s profitsin the first place, not to mention being very off putting to paying customers that was my second visit to a sportsman warehouse and I will never return and I hope to God nobody else gets scammed like this. This is how they get you to spend more money in their stores then they tell you Then they tell you that they cannot exchange the items that they sold you that were wrong for the correct ones that you were on your own I never requested a refund. I just wanted the correct bullets and would have been willing to pay to upgrade to the correct size how they’ve been willing to help me, but it is very clear that the people at the store have no intentions of helping you in anyway, they are only there to screw you over. Beware and watch yourselves go to trusted smaller local gun stores. They will treat you right. Instead of treating you like a number like this store does

  Extremely disappointed with the check-in system at this location. I checked in online and was listed as 'Next' on the monitor. Despite standing right by the counter with my wife the entire time, my name was never called, and I was repeatedly bumped back to #2 and #3 in line. When I asked for clarification, staff told me I was moved because I 'wasn't there,' which simply wasn't true. They seemed to just pick whoever was standing closest rather than following the queue. As someone driving in from East Clovis, this was a complete waste of time and gas. I won't be returning.

  Good prices worst customer service . Waited over an hour in the ammo line just for 2 workers to pass over me and help others who scanned the code for firearm purchase . I wasn’t helped until I scanned that even though I was told to wait in the ammo line . Never again . If you plan on waiting 1-2 hours for some ammo just go somewhere else .
