This store has it all: new and used books, audiobooks, videos, music, video games and much more. They buy all of the above as well. Great prices and a fun place to spend time exploring all the store has to offer.

I really like this place. Fair prices for the games, it's like ebay prices that are discounted by a bit plus no shipping costs. Everything I've bought has worked without issue, though sometimes the DVD cases are slightly broken. Only thing I'm sad about is their dwindling anime DVD collection :( It used to be a whole shelf, but now it's less than half a shelf. It's been replaced mostly by manhwa which is cool, but I really do miss the anime collection. I wish there were more still since that and the games are really the only thing I peruse. The clearance section is awesome too, though sometimes $3 for a blu-ray of a movie I don't care about that much is too high for me to justify. I wish I could go more but it's far from my house. Still try to make the trip out here sometimes, especially since Savers is a short walk away.

I recently visited Half Price Books and had a disappointing experience with an employee named Rihanna. From the moment I approached the checkout counter, she was completely unwelcoming. She didn’t greet me, acknowledge me, or say a single word during the transaction. I also noticed she treated the customers ahead of me and behind me the exact same way, which makes it seem like this may be a regular pattern rather than a one-time moment. Her demeanor created a cold, uninviting atmosphere and left a negative impression that doesn’t reflect well on the company. I hope this feedback is helpful in improving the overall customer service experience.
