- EBElle BaezFeb 19, 20261.0THIS IS THE WORST ALCOHOL MONITORING PROGRAM IN THE INDUSTRY!!! AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!SAVE YOURSELVES!! THEY QUOTED ME $250-350 AND IT WAS OVER $600: They never communicated the fact the vehicle was an EV and quoted me the wrong price. It is likely the fair cost of the labor and I do NOT blame the business that installed the device. THEY OVERCHARGED ME: They said they would give me a discount of $39.99 bi-weekly to get me to sign up. Sure enough my first bill is $49.99. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE: When you are able to connect with someone and you're frustrated they hang up on you (this has happened to me at least twice). All employees lack conflict resolution skills. ENDLESS AUTOMATION: Call and have a problem? They won’t answer. If you don’t get hung up on, you get pushed to their text system which takes even more time. UNKNOWN VIOLATIONS & LOCK OUTS: I have two violations for reasons I don’t know and no one can tell me. After contacting the DMV I was informed by them that they can’t see it. I have to assume they are trying to make money by giving these false “lockouts”/”violations” because the DMV had no idea what I was talking about. THEY LACK COMPETENCY: If you have a question you will get two to three different answers, all which contradict one another. Everything leads back to filling out an incident report that takes 5-7 business days to hear back from. These people should genuinely be ashamed of themselves and they aren’t. RUN TO ANY OTHER COMPANY.

What do I need for removal?
Requirements will differ by state, but generally your state authority must grant removal authorization before you can have your IID removed. You will then need to fill out the Device Removal Request form on our website and upload any official documentation that may be required to authorize the removal.
Do I need an Interlock Device on all of my vehicles?
Some states will require that you have an Ignition Interlock Device installed on all cars registered to you, but most states will just require that whichever vehicle you drive have an IID installed. Check with your state authority to see if you will need an IID installed on all of your cars.

How does an Interlock Device work?
When you blow into your Ignition Interlock Device, you're providing a breath test sample in order to start the vehicle. The device then measures your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC), and will either say that you passed, need to retest, or failed. You will be asked to take rolling retests throughout your drive.
What can breathalyzers detect?
Breathalyzers only measure your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC).
Is an Ignition Interlock the same as a breathalyzer?
Ignition Interlock and handheld breathalyzers both test your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC), but an Ignition Interlock Device is only installed in vehicles and prevents the car from starting if there is alcohol detected. A handheld breathalyzer only detects alcohol and may tell you the concentration.
Can I unplug my Ignition Interlock?
Check with your state authority to see if you are allowed to unplug your Ignition Interlock before doing so.
Can someone else drive my car?
Yes, but whoever is driving the vehicle MUST take a breath test and pass before driving. Any failed test will still be your responsibility.
