My husband and I walked into the Rolex store to browse and look at watches and we usually do this whenever we come across a Rolex store and we know that inventory is slim but we still check from time to time. We were greeted by Christina and she was very warm, kind, and welcoming. We expressed what we were looking for and Christina was very professional and helped us look into the watch that he has been wanting. We were invited in the day of his birthday and it was the best birthday present!! He really loves his first Rolex watch and wears it almost every day. We are extremely pleased with the excellent customer service we received from Christina and the experience makes me want to come back to this specific store and purchase more watches with her. Christina explained everything in detail and we just appreciated her professionalism and kind demeanor. We raved about Christina and the experience at Rolex boutique store to all of our friends and family and they all want to go to Christina now :) We hope to be repeated customers. Many thanks to Christina for helping my husband get one of his dream watches :)

I made an appointment to view a couple of different watches. I believe this a store owned by Rolex. I was greeted by Ali Abdunadi. I was escorted to a private room where he showed me the watches I requested. I was able to try them on to see how they looked on my wrist. He also brought me a watch that wasn’t on my radar. I ended up purchasing the watch he suggested, because it fit be better that some of the smaller watches. I was given all the time I needed to determine which was right for me in a no pressure environment. I appreciated the professional manner and the patience Ali and Rolex Boutitque/Bucherer provided. I would recommend this authorized dealer to friends and family.

I recently scheduled an appointment directly through the store’s online system to further explore the Rolex collection, after having the opportunity to visit and learn about the brand in O‘ahu, Hawaii during my wedding about a month ago. As someone from Irvine, I was genuinely excited to meet the authorized dealer in my area. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement.
When I arrived for my appointment on Monday (3/30/2026)—intentionally scheduled early to avoid crowds—I was greeted by a security guard who seemed more interested in gatekeeping than actually verifying my appointment. After realizing I did in fact have an appointment, he hesitantly let me in and told me to sit by the bar. This was on a Monday morning shortly after opening, with one other customer in the store.
To my surprise, an Asian gentleman greeted me and offered me a drink, which I have to say was the only pleasant interaction I had during the visit. He then introduced me to a sales associate who was not the person I had scheduled with, and I was told that they do not keep track of online appointments. This was not the case when I had scheduled store appointments online w/ Rolex stores in O'ahu.
The associate asked what pieces I was interested in, and I briefly mentioned the 126710 BLNR. I fully understand how popular this piece is and do not expect any special treatment. However, she proceeded to tell me that she has clients with over $200,000 in spend history who still have not been allocated one. Among the many thoughts that went through my head, the relevant one was that this is not someone I would want to do business with. That kind of statement makes it sound like this SA more interested in exploiting their clients rather than share the joy and pride for Rolex's excellence. My understanding is that this AD is owned by Rolex themselves which confused me even more.
Regardless, I also mentioned I was interested in a lady’s Datejust with a pearl dial for my wife, as well as a Yacht-Master 37 in rose gold. She then stated that “no men wear 37” and that 40mm is the way to go. I can appreciate recommendations, but I didn’t realize that having a personal preference would be dismissed so quickly—especially when I am into watches for my own joy and memories and not to please others.
After briefly commenting on the titanium Cartier Santos I had on bought to commemorate my wedding, she confirmed my interest in the 126710 BLNR (which I had already registered at Bucherer in O‘ahu), and we parted ways. Her name was never clearly introduced, and I was not offered a business card.
Shortly after, I visited another authorized dealer in Fashion Island and was at least greeted and treated like a customer. I was able to register my interest there without issue.
Long story short, if a store does not bother to honor a simple online appointment on a quiet Monday morning and openly communicates that even $200,000+ clients are not allocated a steel watch, it raises a fair question—why bother doing business at this location? I would rather establish a relationship elsewhere that values its clients and treats them like human beings.
I only recently became interested in watches as a way to commemorate important milestones in my life—my wedding, and my business. I tend to be minimal in what I buy, but I do plan to invest in meaningful pieces and give back to people in my life. I was introduced to the brand by my father and had an excellent experiences in the two locations in O‘ahu. The staff at Bucherer Waikiki was miles ahead of what I experienced with the staff at South Coast Plaza.
I hope by sharing this, others can better set their expectations at this location. To this particular associate, I rather continue to grow my wealth with $200,000 than to spend it for watches I care not for.
That said, I do want to give credit to the gentleman who initially greeted me and offered me a drink—he was the one bright spot in an otherwise disappointing visit. I wish him the best as I look to establish a more meaningful sales relationship elsewhere.

Buying my Rolex from Christina at South Coast Plaza was an incredible experience. After visiting several other Rolex stores in search of this watch and only having my information taken with no follow-up, it was refreshing to work with someone who truly cared. Christina stayed on top of everything and made the entire process smooth while helping me secure the exact watch I wanted.
The level of customer service here is exceptional. I truly appreciate the attention and professionalism, and I will definitely be coming back. This has officially become my go-to Rolex store.
