    The Grove is the worst Nordstrom store in Los Angeles. The restrooms are aways filthy now. I was turned away from the restaurant because they were understaffed. I will be going to either Century City or DelAmo.

    Just called the fragrance department on the phone to see if I could place an order using a gift card and the person who picked up was extremely rude. Coming from an employee who works at a different nordstrom location this is unacceptable.

    Normally, I have great experiences at Nordstrom, but unfortunately that hasn’t been the case at this location. I usually go to the Brea or Mission Viejo stores, but I came to the Costa Mesa location for some alterations. I have the Nordstrom card, which includes a $200 alterations benefit, and I brought in three pairs of jeans that I had purchased from Nordstrom Rack. The alterations associate asked if I had purchased them from Nordstrom. I told her they were from the Rack, and she said alterations would be $25 per pair—which was fine since I had the benefit. She also mentioned that if they had been purchased at that store, they would have been complimentary. No problem, I understood. When she pulled up my Nordy Club account, she saw that I had the $200 alterations credit and confirmed it applied. When I went to check out, the sales associate told me the total would be $80 with tax for the three jeans. I let her know I had the alterations credit, and she told me that I needed to pay with my Nordstrom card and I would be reimbursed afterward. Again, no issue—I paid with my Nordstrom card. A week later, I picked up my pants and checked my Nordstrom account and card statement. No reimbursement. I contacted customer service, and they informed me that these items due to being Rack does NOT qualify for reimbursement. I explained the entire store experience, and they told me I needed to contact the store directly. I called the store, spoke with customer service, and was told I needed to speak with the alterations manager. When I finally reached her, the experience was honestly terrible. After explaining everything, she made excuses—saying one of the associates only works weekends. I’m sorry, but how much someone works shouldn’t affect whether they know store policies. In the end, she told me there was nothing she could do. Nothing. I was stunned. I requested a call back from the store manager and have yet to hear anything. For a company known for excellent customer service, this has been an incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience at this location.
