  I had such a wonderful experience at the Chanel store in South Coast Plaza yesterday. They were having huge sales, the entire team worked together beautifully, helping one another with smiles and a great attitude. The positive energy in the store was fantastic. I am so grateful to have met such an amazing team. I had the pleasure of meeting the management and my sales associate, Ernesto, who is one of the sweetest, most knowledgeable, and most fashionable people I have ever met. He made the experience truly memorable. The management team was beyond kind and extremely professional. Thank you to the entire Chanel South Coast Plaza team for such a lovely experience. I am truly grateful.

  I had an extremely unsettling experience with this store, specifically with the manager, Maria. I purchased my glasses in Las Vegas on 11/23/2025 and have been attempting to either exchange or return them. Since I live in San Diego, I was advised by my local boutique that the nearest location to handle the transaction was Costa Mesa—despite already hearing negative experiences about this store from family and friends made an attempt to go and handle the transaction. I initially sent my husband to complete the return, and the transaction was immediately rejected. The manager claimed the return policy had changed, even though my receipt clearly states that I have until 1/8/2026 to return the glasses. I then contacted customer service, who were empathetic, apologized for the experience, and opened a ticket to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, I never received a follow-up. In a final attempt, I sent my sister to the store, where she again encountered Manager Maria. She was dismissive and rude, and simply stated that the return could not be processed. When my sister asked if she could contact customer service to review the open ticket—per Chanel’s main customer service department—Maria refused and ushered her away without offering any alternatives or solutions. This experience has been incredibly disappointing, and I will not be doing business with this store again.

  I called them trying to ask about an exchange for a bag I recently purchased on Jan 3. And the lady on the phone told me to describe the bag to her and I did, she responded with “interesting” keep in mind I paid over 10k for this bag. Then she hung up on me.

  Ungratefull staff that is hungry for commision for customers i asked the sales person for water while i shopped because i did buy something that day and she waited for me to pay for the shoes to gibe me the water.
