- CRClive RosfieldFeb 18, 20261.0Went to go drop something off at the jewelry department and it took not 1 not 2 but 3 associates to figure out how to fill out a jewelry repair! And what’s worse is that one of them is a manager! We were standing there for like 5 minutes while they were trying to figure it out. Now I understand why I hear all this negative experiences with Chula Vista JC Penney. Also seemed like we inconvenienced the associates by interrupting their conversation to ask for assistance as we weren’t greeted. No apology for the wait out of courtesy and not to mention they ask for a drivers license for a stainless steel chain !!! a phone number is enough to look for purchased jewelry w/ or w/o warranties in the system. Plaza Bonita JCPenney is much better. One jewelry associate at Bonita easily solved my issue like nothing and it took 1 employee not 3!! Do yourself a favor and go to Plaza Bonita JCPenney. Don’t trust these fake reviews for Chula Vista JCPenney.
- JPJoana PerezFeb 18, 20261.0Selection sucks. There’s this one associate w a ponytail and glasses that is always obnoxious and hounds you down to see if you have a JCP CC by the time you walk in. Jewelry department is ABSOLUTELY HORRID. Never am I greeted by jewelry associates and they seem to not know what they’re doing most of the time. They’re always denying repairs most of the time bc it was purchased at a diff location and will “void” the warranty if they do it here which is FALSE. Do your self a favor and just do the extra few minutes of a drive to plaza Bonita location.

Definitely will not be coming back to this JCPenney and will recommend others not to as long as she is working there
