  I was so excited to visit this store since my previous purchases where on line, I do have to say is that I left with a sour taste in my mouth since my visit to Citadel store was A MAJOR DISSAPOIINTMENT due to the sales persons at both locations Citadel (CERRITOS)2 woman where running the store at both locations and they were to involved in their conversation to help me, I had to keep going back and ask them to get sizes and at some point they both have me a stare that would have upset the most patient person in the world. I have to say this, to the management of both of this stores PLEASE PLEASE RE TRAIN YOUR PERSONNEL the consumer do not want or need or desire to be mis treated and made to feel like we are interrupting the sales people conversation, if you do not feel like helping making sales PLEASE DO NOT GO IN TO WORK!!!...The sales that are generated with customers purchasing the shoes are what keeps store open. So please please DO BETTER DR. MARTENS CITADEL AND CERRITOS HUGE DISSAPOINTMENT!!!! AND YES I RATHER PAY THE EXTRA SHIPPING COST TO AVOID BEING MISS TREATED AT THIS STORES.

  Bad customer service. Love the shoes, I went to exchange for a smaller size and the girl who I spoke to was so rude. Another assistant tried to help me and she interrupted her. She is useless and doesn’t let other people help the customers. I love the brand anyway!

  Tried to return an online order. They told me they can exchange but do bot take returns because supposedly they have no access to “their system” - so they have access to “the system” to exchange but not return? Bought multiple things from this location and this brand. See you never!!! The most terrible customer service. I bet you they rely on their shipment exchange process taking forever that people simply give up and the brand gets to keep your money. This is the first and the last time I ever purchase online from them and given terrible customer service at the store, will not be back either. The order was for kids boots that are so poorly designed that there is no way a kid’s ankle would fit when it is zipped up.

  I tried to exchange a pair of mules I had previously bought at this location. The employee at the register was a bit rude in our interaction and claimed the shoes had signs of wear. I had never worn these shoes and they were just sitting in my closet. If there were any signs of wear that was how the shoes were originally sold to me. I feel as though this employee’s customer service needs to be worked on.
