  At first, I didn't have a good experience here. I brought in a suitcase for repair, after being issued a repair paper by Samsonite online. When I came to the store, I was told that they couldn't accept any repairs until the following day because their system was down. I mentioned that I had driven for 45 minutes each way just to drop the suitcase off, but was not offered any solution, other than 'come back tomorrow'. I left very disappointed. I came back again a month later and this time they were helpful, and even waived the shipping fee as a courtesy. Also, they sent the suitcase back to me within 6 days.

  I have bought many pieces of luggage at this Carlsbad location for Samsunite. I always have great service and the employees are professional, very knowledgeable on the products and friendly. My most recent interaction was with Johnny. I had recently purchased a bag, and there was a slight defect. He made it very easy to fill out the repair form and he waived the shipping fee for the repair since it was so new. I appreciated his flexibility and meeting my customer service needs! He’s a great employee!

  Tall lady that works there know her luggage. She is awesome. I have purchased samsonite luggage through the years, but the price/quality/warranty and built in obsolescence not sure Samsonite is worth it anymore. I travel and check my luggage 2-3 times a years. So my suitcase is used 20-30 times during warranty period. Suitcase breaks after warranty they no longer cover it nor make the parts. A little disappointing. I guess if your a frequent traveler worth the price.
