There is no justification for treating everyday people with a lack of both basic empathy and a fundamental understanding of human dynamics - while continuing to make up things (for years) that are not really accurate. Associates tend to follow the examples set by leadership. An extra star for the associate’s response SLA, their general understanding of customer perception, and the impact that understanding creates. This assessment is based on sustained experience over years, not a short-term interaction.
I stumbled into Kerns a couple of years ago. At first, I felt a little hesitant because it looked super fancy and only carried new jewelry, but I have always been an estate jewelry lover. The agents were so kind when I mentioned that, and they immediately led me to their estate case. I bought a beautiful San Marco bracelet that was half the price of the newer ones. I never stuck with one sales associate because I usually pop in randomly and leave with a piece or two. Their estate pieces were always reasonably priced, which is surprising because they are a very high class jewelry store and an authorized Rolex and Patek dealer.
A few months ago, I met a friend for coffee next to Kerns. She loves estate jewelry too, so I told her about the beautiful pieces I found in their estate case at amazing prices. We went in together, and she found gorgeous pieces, and so did I. I asked the salesperson about Rolexes because I desperately want a green face Rolex. Laura, my salesperson, told me to come by and take a look. I saw her a week later, thinking I was just going in to view the exhibition, but I ended up buying the most beautiful watch I own. I love wearing it.
I went again today and scored more amazing estate jewelry pieces at great prices. Laura is an incredible salesperson and a true jewelry lover just like me. She’s my new sales person at kerns!

I had an excellent experience at Kern’s Fine Jewelry in Burlingame purchasing my first Rolex through their Certified Pre-Owned program. Nick helped me every step of the way. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and patient in answering all of my questions. You can tell he genuinely loves watches and was just as excited as I was to help me find the perfect timepiece. The entire process was smooth and enjoyable. I highly recommend Kern’s and especially Nick if you’re in the market for a luxury watch!

Kerns Burlingame Review
Had an excellent experience buying my first Rolex here. The model I sought was fairly hard to come by, but Chris worked with me to make it happen. He was direct and forthcoming from start to finish, a stark contrast from dealers at other boutiques I’d visited prior. I was able to buy the timepiece I really wanted, much sooner than I’d anticipated, and Chris was very accommodating before, during, and after.
I’m already looking towards getting my next timepiece from Kerns…why go anywhere else?

My 8-month-old Bruce Wayne, Rolex GMT Master II 50-Year Anniversary Grey-&-Black With Green 24-Hour Hand And Oyster Bracelet, was running faster than the plus/minus-2-seconds-per-day Rolex specification.
I searched for and contacted my local, San Francisco, Official Rolex Jeweler --- Kerns Fine Jewelry, Rolex Showroom San Francisco.
I telephoned Kerns, explained my out-of-specification Rolex concern, and, within 4 minutes, had an in-person appointment scheduled for later that same afternoon with Joseph.
Kerns is conveniently located just off Union Square, a 10-minute bike-ride from The CalTrains Terminus Station.
I was initially greeted by Security, then welcomed by a Greeter, offered a bottle of water, and escorted to the beautiful Showroom where I was promptly introduced to Joseph.
Joseph acoustically tested my Rolex and confirmed that it was running fast.
Since it was a relatively new Rolex, Kerns offered to pay for the shipping to the Rolex Repair Facility in Dallas, Texas, and noted that there would be no Repair/Service Fees.
Even though the under-warranty movement-inspection/adjustment was scheduled to require 5 weeks, Joseph contacted me in 2 weeks and 2 days to notify me that my Rolex had been sent out to Dallas, adjusted, returned to San Francisco, and was ready for pick-up!
I thank Joseph and Team Kerns for swiftly getting my now-within-specification Rolex back-on-my-wrist AND for making me feel special and welcomed during my 2 brief visits.
I truly look forward to returning to Kerns and experiencing That Kerns Hospitality & Service that made my first 2 visits oh-so special.
